I plan on attending the hearing. Any specific points I should be making the LRTP if I make a comment?

The one thing I've got to applaud the MTA for is a re-working of their Local Returns guidelines for pedestrian and bicycle projects. While there is no dedicated set-aside for bike and ped projects, this change in the Call For Projects funding guidelines for Local Returns is quite remarkable. It allows for bike projects to remove car capacity and reduce speeds and still get MTA money.

Wow.

All we need is the leadership to propose projects that the MTA bikeways people can approve!

Ah, the dual live-tweet.

Does this mean I can take a break from my live-tweets every once in a while now during the board meetings and just retweet some of your stuff? =]
