Hey! Thanks for the mention!

I have a little bit of hope that the policy goals I laid out are achievable. They don't require very much from our elected leaders, and if bike advocates set things up properly, local electeds have something to gain from their actions on our behalf.

I don't think too much will come of what I wrote, but hopefully my actions (and the collective actions of bike advocates) will steer things in a better direction.

We need many more Class I dedicated bike paths / bike trails, along all major streets,
as well as Class II bike lanes - on ALL major streets.
Currently many streets have plenty of land and/or space available to accommodate Class I and/or Class II bike paths, however LADOT is not eager to do anything...
Hopefully, things will be set in motion, as we need Bicycles to be one of the viable options.
