Ed Reyes is the man! I sent around a one page .pdf file with two suggestions: (1) Define "transportation" to include bikes, transit and walking in transportation planning and funding (2) Measure the roadway in a better way I wonder if anythin will come of these two ideas? If I had a chance to do it again, I'd include this: (3) Dismantle the LADOT. -Send the Operations staff to Public Works. -Meter maids go to LAPD. -Transportation Development should go to Planning. -Regulatory Services can go to the Office of Finance. -DASH buses will have to find a home somewhere - General Services?
