Taxis don&#039;t cost $100 unless you are traveling from the Westside to Downtown to South Bay to Pasadena... A reasonable person would only take a cab within districts where driving is not practical.</description>

		<description>I would love if LA became a little more taxi friendly.  That said, the vast distances that one needs to cover to get anywhere in LA are part of what make that impractical.  No matter where a taxi is allowed to pick up passengers, noone is going to take taxis regularly if it is over $100 to get from where you are to where you want to be, as is frequently the case for me.
