		<description>Venice-Sepulveda alignment, even taking &quot;mixed street running&quot; out of the equation, is actually significantly longer than the ROW.

Longer route means longer time from Santa Monica to downtown.

Period.  Shorter trip downtown means more people will use the line.  It might be a tiny difference, but I&#039;m taking any difference we can get.</description>
