Soap Box LA brings up some really good points about the Mayor, the city, housing, planning and transportation. I have a question. Is there a program in LA similar to the "TransitCheck" program in NYC/NJ/CT where people can use pre-tax money to pay for transportation costs on mass transit? It just came to mind as one small step in encouraging mass transit.
